Our Local Barley Story:

We first encountered Sam at one of our inaugural whisky tastings back in 2016. Having fostered a childhood dream of owning a farm in Columbia, Sam took a leap of faith and bought "La Finca" in Israel. Determined to craft a unique local beer, he embarked on the journey of developing a new strain of barley. However, upon learning about our own story, Sam made the bold decision to shift his focus to whisky instead. For the past six years, he has wholeheartedly devoted himself to the creation of the exceptional 2 Row Halpert Barley. Since 2019, we have had the pleasure of transforming all of Sam's carefully nurtured barley into whisky, thereby realizing our shared dream of cultivating a truly farm-to-bottle experience. Lechaim!
